Hello Everyone,
Well, for a first posting, I would like to talk a little bit about myself.
First of all, let me present myself. My name is Chaya Devi Fowdar, I am a young little lady full of zeal and enthusiasm. I am currently student at the University of Mauritius for a 3 1/2 year program in BSc (Hons) Management (Minor: Information Systems). I live at Vallee Des Pretres which is famous for its landslides.
My College Life:
I joined Gaetan Raynal State College in Form I in January 2000, and brilliantly passed my Cambridge School Certificate in 2004. My performance at the Cambridge Higher School Certificate Examination held in November 2006 was an “equally honourable one”, that what my Teachers say.
I always tried my best to work hard and have always been aware of my goals and objectives to be achieved. I studied mainly the science subjects excluding Biology. And it was a real challenge to get As in those subjects at A-Level.
My teachers say these about me: “I’m a lively,polite and well behaved young lady. I have a pleasant personality. I have always been responsible and cooperative.”
I have always been helpful and supportive towards my peers and have proved my leadership skills by being a Class Captain for three consecutive years and Student Council Representative for two years.
I cherish lots of the good times I spent at school with my friends and teachers.

My Interests:
I have a keen interest in sports especially Badminton and Volleyball (though I am not able to practice and enjoy these disciplines since very very long). I am developping a passion for software development and currently I am trying to learn the basics of programming in the C++ language. It gives me enough pleasure to get my hands dirty with the codes. Remember : Perfect Practice Makes Perfect.
My Personality:
I’m a very cool girl with a pleasant personality. I’m always hopping here and there just like a rabbit. I’m always full of energy and always ready to bounce. I’m a good listener, so whenever you need someone to listen to you, Main Houn Nah! I’m always smiling and cheerful. I have lots of patience and courage to handle whatever type of situation. Last but not least, I believe that working hard will bring to the fore the good qualities in me and in so doing I will excel in any undertaking of my choice and this shows my optimism and motivation.
