Exams, Exams, & Exams!!!
Why should we have exams?
And when will these be over?

I guess the lecturers will ask “why do I have to correct exam scripts?” lol

Anyways….Ce sont les regles du jeu!

I had Organisational Behaviour exams on Monday, and again time management problem. I happened to start a 30 marks essay type question at 3.30pm and exams were to finish at 3.45pm. Only 15 minutes to tackle this question and unfortunately could not attempt it properly as I should. Anyways, just hope that the case study and the other questions will help me out.

Then had Programming Methodology exams on Wednesday and hopefully I’m passing this module. Given the past years’ exam papers, I expected ours to be more difficult than the paper we actually got but still I guess there are many mistakes that I have left especially in Section C.

According to weather forecasts, there were lightening and thunders which could be seen and heard respectively and because of this there were power failures. Et la salle des examens etaient sombres. Fortunately, my seat was by the window and I could get some natural light. As for others, I don’t how they managed despite all the curtains being pulled. Fortunately, after having contacted the examinations section, we were allowed 15 minutes additional, which for some were useful and for others useless. There were also some who abandoned the paper around 10.45 - 11.00 itself.

I took advantage of the 15 additional minutes and ended my paper 12.45. And to my surprise, it was raining heavily outside. With my umbrella which I bring with me everyday, I managed to reach cafe saine et sauve. I had my little lunch there though I wasn’t hungry. Networks were jammed, no sms could be sent nor received, nor, phone calls could be made nor received. Then headed to the bus stop, SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!

The whole bus stop was over-crowded. Some people were enjoying getting drenched in that rainfall, others were struggling to atleast shelter their head under a friend’s umbrella. We waited for some 15-20 minutes there, and despaired we returned to cafe since it was pouring so much and I was scared of those thunders and lightening.

I finally went back to bus stop around 2pm since we were being “evacuated” from cafe, cafe had to close at 2pm and can no longer shelter the students. I managed to get a bus to Port Louis around 2.45pm and finally I reached home after 4pm since there was transport problems to my little village.

Anyways, that’s all for now!!
