Hmm…

Has the title striked anything in your mind?

Well, I was actually reading so many articles on the net and I came accross this one: Press “Pause” To Prevent Pregnancy and I quote from the article “The remote control, implanted device will allow users to ‘press pause’ on their sperm. (although it doesn’t mention whether a ‘rewind’ function is in the works).”

Anyways, let’s start the discussion:

Have you ever had a conversation with a woman who has 4, 5 or maybe more children; however wanted to stop at 2? Well, I have. How does this keep happening? Either it’s because they are craving for a son to be the heir of the family; well, they would as well take pills but ladies heard that the pills make you grow facial hairs and develop a deep voice. Then, there’s the shot, but it pretty much does the same thing. Guys would say, as concerns condoms, they take the “feel” out of it. But guys COULD get a vasectomy, but the couple would not be 100% certainly absolutely sure that they are not going to want another kid. So until then, they’ll just have them over, and over again.

Well, what if I told you that a guy could literally turn off his sperm off and on with the touch of a button? Yes, you’ve read it right, thanks to Australian Scientists, with the help of an implanted device, men can now literally turn their sperm off and on when ever they wish. The device works through a complicating process of sending different waves that allow the device to either expand and stop the sperm, or contract and allow it to flow freely.

I read some of the comments to that article and what I could conclude is that there are some doubts as to the functionality of this device. Some people have also said that to be completely sterile after a vasectomy, they had to wait for some weeks to be tested. This makes me wonder about pressing “Pause”……

My dear readers, do you think such a device will really work?

Keep posting your comments!
