Hi all,
Have been on a loooooong holiday, since I have not been posting for almost a month. Reasons being, I had lots of stuffs to do and lots of stuff to tell you, but when laziness took hold of me, I didn’t post. Sometimes the craze to enjoy idleness would take over me and there I’ll sit doing nothing.
Well a very quick recap about what I have been doing:
Have been enjoying my time with my Didi who came from France with her 2 little French kids, Pravish & Kiran.
Then came Orientation Week at UoM–I accompanied my cousine for Medical Science Orientation, and I must say, Medical Science is cool but really tough. I had the chance to visit their Clinical Skills Lab and their Medical Library.
Then, my friends and I conducted the Orientation of the BSc (Hons.) Management (Minor: Information Systems) first year students, those people were pretty interactive as compared to other groups.
Then, resumed university on the 11th. It’s been two whole weeks at university and to be honest 2nd year proves to be challenging.

Yeah, yesterday, I have been reading lots. Read about Lateral Thinking, Thinking Outside the Box, Situation Puzzles, Grandfather Paradox etc…all articles being obtained from Wikipedia, my favorite place.
After all these readings, I was thinking about programming and a question cropped up in my mind:
Does Lateral Thinking or Thinking Outside The Box Have Any Relationship
With Good Programming Skills & Techniques?
I will try to come up with an argument for this soon or can anyone reading this augue about this?
I found the Grandfather Paradox really interesting however I have not been able to make any possible comments about it yet. The key aspect of this is (I quote):
Suppose a man traveled back in time and killed his biological grandfather
before the latter met the traveller’s grandmother. As a result, one of the
traveller’s parents (and by extension, the traveller himself) would never have
been conceived. This would imply that he could not have travelled back in time
after all, which in turn implies the grandfather would still be alive, and the
traveller would have been conceived, allowing him to travel back in time and
kill his grandfather. Thus each possibility seems to imply its own negation, a
type of logical paradox.
Any comments about this my friends?
Well, that’s all for now. Gotta read some scandals in the newspapers and go at my mawsi’s place. Just hope no shock awaits me there.
