Les Chef-D’oeuvres De Nani
Hi All,
I’m back to my blog after almost a week. How have you all been? How was you week? I sincerely hope everthing went fine for you all
Let’s get straight into the topic. This post is about displaying some pictures of Les Chef-D’oeuvres De Nani, that is, the works done by my Maternal Grand Mother
So these are the outcomes of my nani’s past time, embroidery and “crochet”. In the list now, Nani has, one bedsheet for a friend, 4 poncho’s for my friends, and other bedhseets for me, pou mo trousseau koi
So this is all for this short post, if you want Nani to do anything for you, let me know. Totally free of charge, just buy your “raw materials” and give it to me. I’ll send them to Nani and the work will be done. But for the time being, she is a bit overloaded. You will have to wait for your turn
Hehe…Hope to hear from you all in the comment section. Take care. Cheers
Chaya

@ Yusha: Nani keeps herself busy with embroidery and crochet whole day and like this she does not stress herself about people’s gossips
@ Tushal: Thank you…

@Sailesh:Thank you Sailesh
Indeed it’s very rare to see people doing these. Even if there are some people who are learning it in the Community Centres etc, they are learning it to make a business out of it afterwards. “Les Femmes Entrepreneurs” Comme On Le Dit Deja. It really earns you a lot of money, in fact.
But Nani has been doing this for us, for my friends as well, but she charges nothing, because she simply enjoys doing it

C’est vraiement jolie!
But as Bruno pointed out, embroidery is becoming a lost art, so is femininity!

I tried to learn crochet once… Bah, on dirait c’etait pas pour moi. This runs in the family though, with my grandma, mom and aunts all doing these kind of things. J’adore =)

@Bruno:
@stressful: I am sure you are referring to the ‘Roussaille’ one… During my holidays or free time after studies, I’ll surely learn these crafts from her or from Mum.
@Dhaneesha: Catch me on msn, for you to give me more details about it.
