About Me

Hi Everyone,

I am Chaya Devi FOWDAR; you may call me Chaya or Mandini (simply).  I am a young little lady full of zeal and enthusiasm.  Currently a student at the University of Mauritius doing a BSc. (Hons.) Management (Minor: Information Systems), I am enjoying university life surrounded by my close friends who are always present to give their support and encourage me.

A quick overview of my college life:

School Days

I joined Gaetan Raynal State College in Form I in January 2000, and brilliantly passed my Cambrideg School Certificate in 2004.  My performance at Cambridge Higher School Certificate Examinations held in November 2006 was an “equally honourable one”, that’s what my teachers said.

I have always tried my best to work hard and have always been aware of my goals and objectives to be achieved.

My Interests:

I have a keen interest in sports especially Badminton and Volleyball (though I am not able to practice and enjoy these disciplines since very very long). I am developping a passion for software development and currently I am trying to learn the basics of programming in the C++ and Pythonlanguage. It gives me enough pleasure to get my hands dirty with the codes. Further, for database purposes, I am learning to code in pl/pgsql.  Maybe next year, a warm welcome will be given to an adventure in VB or VB.Net.

My Personality:

I’m a very cool girl with a pleasant personality. I’m always hopping here and there just like a rabbit. I’m always full of energy and always ready to bounce. I’m a good listener, so whenever you need someone to listen to you, Main Houn Nah! I’m always smiling and cheerful. I have lots of patience, courage and strength to handle whatever type of situation. Last but not least, I believe that working hard will bring to the fore the good qualities in me and in so doing I will excel in any undertaking of my choice and this shows my optimism and motivation.
