Mon Retour
Hi Everyone,
Here I am, announcing le retour du comeback (Copyright @ IC) de moi after almost 8 weeks. How are you all doing? La vie douce? UoM peeps, how were your exams? How was the decomposition and pwnage process? Successful or unsuccessful? LoL
I’m left with two more papers to go namely, Foundations of IT Law and Research Methodology which is due for 21st and 22nd of May respectively and finally happy holidays
What’s in the plan for holidays? My classmates and myself will be off from campus ( on and off ) till December because we got a 6-months work-placement.
As for me, I need to think of how to spice up these 7 months
1) Work placement starting in June itself — I’ll try to have as much fun as I can just as I did where I have worked previously.
2) Attend my ex-manager’s wedding.
3) Re-start my driving classes (I paused because of replacement classes and exams), go for the test as scheduled and atleast pass it partly if not wholly.
4) Learn some stuffs on my own — till date I have been learning to pass exams only, now I want to learn things for life
5) ‘Re-engineer’ my blog — Think of a new concept, not palabre corner. Hehe *shy* *embarassed*
6) Think of a dissertation title for next year.
7) Resume ACCA and take exams in December — atleast 2 papers or atmost 3 papers.
Go out every Saturday (if possible) - with friends.
9) Read books which I have always wanted to read; like The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Who Will Cry When You Die (in short, all books by Robin Sharma of which I have some 4-5)
10) November - My cousine’s wedding
11) Do crazy stuffs at home like play with joujou menage, poupette etc — Back in old days when I was a kid, hehe.
12) Play games online till very late at night — I have been spending sleepless nights to revise…now it’s time to spend sleepless nights to play and have fun.
I don’t know if these will actually add some enthusiasm in the 7-months ahead but I am sure it will keep me busy. Those who know me will realise that I badly need to keep myself busy otherwise I’ll be frustrated for not doing something with my free time. And who knows I might become mad
Actually, I was playing last night and I realised that playing games do not actually provide relaxation. I felt like I was adding more pressure to my mind/brain, even more pressure as compared to when I revise/study. And I think that ‘playing games adds more pressure to the brain’ has been scientifically proven. Games are surely entertaining but they affect the brain as well. This is because there is always that aim to beat the high scores, to go to the next level until all the levels have been passed or to complete a part in a limited amount of time. To be able to go through the stages, some games demand high concentration and hence affect the brain. I have not read any studies about this, but I can say this from my one experience of playing games. But this will not stop me from playing…hehe
That’s all for today.
Do not forget to share your holiday plans with me
Till the next post, I’m off for some Episodes of Bones and then The Big Bang Theory.
Cheers
Chaya
